Letter from Tacoma #28: May 9, 2016

 Hey everybody!

Sorry I don't have much time this week for emails, because today we have a zone activity after we all finish emailing. But I don't think I have too much to write about since I talked to everybody except the newly weds yesterday.

Happy Mother's Day, again! The pictures of the wedding looked great, and it seems like Krista and Josh are having a blast together down in Mexico! Oh yeah, and does my new brother-in-law, Josh, want to get my letters now, too? Krista, send me his email if he does, so I can keep in touch with the whole of the family.

It looks like Ben Heuer's flying out to Seattle tomorrow, so it'll be awesome knowing he isn't too far... But I doubt I'll really see him here in Washington, mostly because of the fact missions don't interact much between each other besides sending referrals betwixt them... and also because the area I'm in is the farthest south possible in my mission. Oh well, it'll be fun keeping track of his progress throughout his mission from week to week. 😝

Tomorrow, Mission President Blatter is actually coming down here to the Centralia Stake for Interviews with all of the missionaries, so I'll be speaking with him for a bit during that time. I'm kind of nervous, but I don't really see why. But that's just something to look forward to.

But something I'm looking forward to even more is that in a week from Tuesday, I'll be heading to the Seattle Temple for a Mission Temple Trip! This only happens once a year, so definitely a cool milestone throughout my experience here.

So, yeah, not much else is going on up here. Just having fun knocking doors, visiting with members, and avoiding the occasional guard dog. It was so refreshing to call and see how everyone is doing. I think it's a blessing that I was able to call at a time when all of my siblings were back in Utah. A lot has changed since I left home for almost seven months ago. But now I have another seven months to work through until the next time I can call; It's the same amount of time, which wasn't that long at all, so if I can do it once, I can do it again gladly.

Sorry, no pictures this week.

Have fun down in Arizona, Ryan!
Hope you have safe travels, Krista and Josh!
Good luck on your finals, Brandon!
I'm praying that the new house permit will finally get approved, Mom and Dad! (And also Ryan and Katrina; the house seems pretty crowded as it is)

Love you all!
Thanks for reading!
