Letter from Tacoma #12 & #13: January 25, 2016

 Hey Everybody! Did you miss me?😝

I'll have to make this quick because I had to read through two weeks worth of emails, and now I only have ten minutes left to write, so sorry if this email home isn't as organized and 'flowy' as all my other ones. Anyways, let's get to this vomit of information, alright?

So yeah, I've been transferred, which is awesome! Though it isn't to the area that I was told originally. During the middle of transfers, I was told that one of the greenies from the mtc couldn't make the flight here because of an injury, so I'd be in Gravelly Lake area covering there until he healed and came.

So now, I'm here in Gravelly Lake with Elder Alvarez. It's pretty great, considering we stay in a fetchin' mansion!

There's the address, though our apartment in there isn't really fancy, but it's still pretty awesome, I'll have to send pictures of it next week. But yeah, we are being doubled into the area, so it's a bit hard to find where we have to pick up where the other elders left off, but we're doing pretty good.

Sorry to miss emailing last week, but it was MLK jr. day and the library I usually write at was closed, and transfers was the next day, so lack of opportunity there.

Yeah, I'll admit I haven't been feeling too hot lately, and I was actually contemplating going home, but I soon found this piece advice that really helped me, which I encourage anyone looking at a mission to take to heart:
"Get Over Yourself"
As soon as you get your head in the game, you'll do just fine.

Hey Everybody! I'm finally  in  the new area... well, technically it's two areas. We cover both the Silverdale 1st and Brownsville wards. It's made work a bit interesting as I'm trying to figure out which investigators and members are  from  which wards. Oh yeah, and it's still freezing cold up here. Hopefully it goes away by the time February comes. 'Till then I'll just have to bundle up. Monday: I packed up all  of  my stuff  in  Ocean Shores, made all the preparations for transfers, and sent off the package home with the stuff I don't need right now. Austin Returns with Honor: October 18, 2017

After two long and faithful years of service to the Lord,  Austin flew home and we had the wonderful joyful experience  of  greeting him at the airport and sharing long overdue hugs!  Happy Day!  So proud of him!   Dad, Krista, Kamryn, Kenzie and Kyler with the sign and balloons! part of our crew!
