Yo! So all you at home probably heard   from   Mom and Dad already, but this week I got a root canal on one   of   my teeth! Last Monday, P-day, we went to a dentist's office because I've been having some tooth pains lately. We get there and they took an x-ray where the pain was and found a giant hole  in  my tooth. As soon as the dentist came  in  and saw it, the very moment he looked at it, he was like, "Oh! You need a root canal!" The dentist is a member, so we thought he was just joking with us missionaries. Then he started to explain why and we realized that he was being completely serious. So, I was back  in  the dentist office Tuesday morning at 7 for a root canal. The one part  of  any dentist check-up/procedure that I hate the most is the shots. I know it would hurt a lot worse without them, but I just don't like them. The dentist gave me about three shots at the start, and then waited a little while for my mouth to nu...

So this week... was kind   of   long. That was mostly because I've been sleep-deprived through most   of   it. You see, last Tuesday night, I started feeling this pain   in   my tooth, and that literally kept me up until 3   in   the morning, just tossing, turning, and hoping the ibuprofen would kick   in   sometime soon. But the funny part was that I felt like I acted more real and sincere around people when I'm exhausted. Guess I was just too tired to care what people  might  think about me.  In  that way it was a bonus, but my tooth still hurts pretty bad. But today a member is going to get me an xray  of  it to know what I should do with it, and now I also have another dentist  in  mind that will take Mom and Dad's dental insurance. So hopefully it all gets taken care  of  this week. So yeah, an eclipse is happening today over here, so everyone is freaking out and looking up at the su...

Oh man! I'm way exhausted right now. This might end up being a short email, cause my train   of   thought is just going everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Biggest highlight  of  this week: Mission-wide 9 to 9. A 9 to 9 is when a companionship leaves the apartment at 9 AM and starts tracting, and they don't stop except for meals and bathroom breaks, until the end  of  the night at 9 PM. This was one  of  our AP's bright ideas, to have the whole mission do a 9 to 9 this Friday. So, we did. We weren't really excited to do it, but it ended up being a lot  of  fun. We kept ourselves motivated and entertained, plus there were a bunch black berry bushes along the road to snack on as we travelled. Yeah, lots  of  fun. We taught a couple people, gave away a few books and pamphlets, but nobody was willing to have us come back again at the moment. Sad face. But at least we're planting seeds. So, I'm pretty sure why I'm so exhausted ...

Hi family!!! This week summed up  in  two words: 'Hot' & 'Crazy'! It was waaaaaaaaaaaaay hot over here! It was something like 104 degrees Fahrenheit and the humidity was around 80%, so it's way uncomfortable to be out  in . And it was like that for about three days straight (Or at least felt like it). So glad that it cooled down to regular northwest weather! Plus, that just means we've gotten through the hottest part  of  the year! I'm looking forward to working  in  September-October, cause that's when the weather is the best: cool, but not too much rain yet. It'll be better  from  here on out! ... I hope... Anyways, this week was way crazy compared to last week. Last week it was work as usual, but it was incredibly slow! We barely had two appointments, cause all the other ones fell through, so we were left knocking doors and visiting members the whole time! This week started  in  a similar way, all until Thursday, right as we ...
