irst off, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAGH! Katrina's having another baby!? I'm gonna be an uncle for another one? I can't even believe it, this new one will be out and kicking by the time I'm home! That's super exciting, congrats! And also, Happy Birthday Katrina! And Happy Birthday tomorrow, Brandon! Soooo, I'm thinking this week I'll try something different. This time, I'll write my letter  in  Chronological Order! (Genius, right?) Monday: P-Day went as usual, just emailing, then derping about  in  Ocean Shores for the rest  of  our free time. We got some work done after dinner, and then we ran to the Gerou's house for FHE, where we watched Meet the Mormons. Sis. Gerou and her kids are recent converts, while her husband still isn't a member (even though he loves the church), and everybody really liked the movie, including me, as it was my first time watching it. Crazy right? Tuesday: That morning we were called upon to help a member, B...

Hey Everybody! Oof! I am tired! It's starting to get hard to think about what happened last week. I'll try to write the best I can for this letter today, but it might not be very long. Yes, it is getting very cold, and also very rainy out here. I'm glad I still have my winter coat  from  last winter, and I'm also glad that it's still not raining as badly as it did last year... yet. But supposedly the rain doesn't last long here  in  Ocean Shores. There aren't any mountains to catch the clouds, so they just pass us by. But we also had a depressing moment, too. Our most solid investigators, Andrea and Gordon, dropped us. They said they needed time to get their life back into order, maybe a month. It's sad that they want to halt the lessons and attempting to come to church, but I hope they do get back into contact with us, if not other missionaries  in  the future. But a few good things happened this week, as well. On Saturday, Elder MacQueen and I spen...

Hey everybody! September is definitely here, and Autumn is approaching, because it's actually starting to get cold  in  Ocean Shores! I'm not sure if I mentioned it  in  my last email, but the town is starting to really die down with the lack  of  weekenders and tourists coming. I'm legitimately surprised that we were able to make our street contacting goal this week, most  of  which happened on Saturday, because there just happened to be an event going on that afternoon  in  the convention center, which brought more people out. But I'm sorry to say that the next few weeks may just look like this: But yeah, that's how the beach is looking, so I don't think beach contacting is going to be a thing for very long at this rate. We're trying to figure out what other ways we can use to do missionary work before the beaches are completely deserted. So far, we only have a few ideas, and it really looks like we'll have to rely on the member...

Hey everybody! I saw the pictures  of  the progress  of  the new house  in  Dad's email. It's coming along quicker than I expected! I'm excited to see the new place when it's finished. With the new school season, it looks like everyone's getting busy... I kind  of  miss school myself. Surprisingly, I can't wait for college; I think it's going to be fun. You went and saw Grandma and Papa? Aw... I wanted to go! I miss them so much! A lot  of  the things I see up here remind me  of  them. (You know, considering the ratio  of  deer to people here is 6000:4000. They're everywhere!) Not much to tell about this week, seeing as I covered Monday through Wednesday already. But we did have some success. On Thursday, we got back into one  of  our investigators that we haven't seen  in  more than a month, named Diane. We had a great discussion about the Plan  of  Salvation with her, and she cam...
